For many people embarking on a period of therapy is the firststep to taking control of their lives.
Therapy can be helpful when we feel that all is not well and our emotions seem all over the place or out of control. At these times, we can feel vulnerable and alone and it can be difficult to share how we feel with close friends and family. This is where I can help.
My aim is to help you to understand your own feelings and to help stop those feelings from leading to destructive behaviour towards yourself and other people. My approach is straight-forward and effective.
I use a wide range of psychotherapeutic techniques including mindfulness, short-term cognitive behavioural therapies and longer term psychodynamic techniques. I work with adults, couples and young people on an open-ended, or session limited basis.
